Please Nominate One Person to Carry Your School/Dept. Flag at Convocation

From Grace Elmore
Principals and Administrators,
Convocation is coming up and I need one person from each school/department to carry in a banner during convocation. Please nominate someone and let me know who that will be.

On the day of convocation they will need to meet by the large yellow sign in the lobby for further instructions.

M.E. Pearson Needs Volunteers to Help Paint Classrooms on Sat., July 29

From Melissa Bedford Fears
The Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools is partnering for the first time with Project Shine in collaboration with Caring for Kids to paint ALL the classrooms at M.E. Pearson Elementary, 310 N. 11th Street. You can help with this effort by volunteering on Saturday, July 29 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Volunteers will need to be 16 years of age or older. All brushes, rollers, ladders and paint will be supplied. Breakfast, lunch and plenty of water will be provided for participants, too. If you would like to help with this classroom painting event, please click the link below to sign-up. http://www.signupgenius.com/go/409084baba62daaf85-project
This is a wonderful opportunity to work together to spruce up the walls at M.E. Pearson with a fresh coat of paint, just in time for the start of the 2017-18 school year.

For more information, contact Jolynna.Addink@kckps.org.
