Evaluations Due

From Sherry Samples
As a reminder, all evaluations are due on Monday, May 1 unless told otherwise. Please monitor and remind employees of the need to sign their evaluation. After an employee has signed his/her evaluation you must go in and click the button “Mark Process Complete” in the lower right corner. Failure to do so will result in the evaluation appearing on the incomplete evaluation report when it has actually been completed.
Any employee who has difficulty logging in may call the TIS help desk.

MAP Test Re-takes Not Allowable

From David Rand
The re-testing of students on MAP due to perceived lack of effort is no longer allowed. The settings in MAP have been updated so that students will only be allowed to test once. While it was previously allowable to re-test students based on extenuating circumstances, the practice has become too widespread. Please let your teachers know that it is important to prepare students to perform their best and active proctoring helps prevent students from randomly answering questions or submitting a test without trying. We will review requests to re-test students based on extenuating circumstances, but general re-testing is no longer allowed. I apologize for any inconvenience.
