Thanks for your support in helping staff members complete the 2019-20 mandatory trainings in the Professional Growth platform on Frontline. Please remember to refer questions to your building
IDP representatives if staff members experience problems logging into the system or accessing videos. If needed, IDP representatives can also provide additional assistance for closed caption features and transcripts, for staff members unable to access the audio on the trainings. Questions that cannot be answered by an IDP representative can be referred to Jared.Alexander@kckps.org.

Annual Inventory Reporting

from Beth Porter
Thank you to all Administrators and staff for the 2018 – 2019 completion of the Building Inventory List.

Annual audits of district owned inventory and federally purchased assets is critical for compliance, insurance purposes and District wide management of surplus & disposals.

To promote consistency and ease of process, an Annual Inventory Reporting Cycle has been implemented for each building and department.
This reporting cycle provides annual deadlines for when each Administrator is to complete and turn in their building / department inventory list.

To begin this process, the following documents are provided:

1. Instructions to complete annual inventory list
2. Building Inventory List Form
3. Annual Inventory Report Deadlines

For auditing purposes, we ask that all Administrators complete your Building Inventory List using the Inventory List form (excel doc) as provided by the Risk Assessment department.

Contact Beth Porter or JaNia Motley with any questions you may have. Thank you!

Certified Contract Amendment Election

from Jen Holt
The board recently adopted a change to the leave policy. Since the leave policy is embedded within the negotiated agreement, the certified bargaining unit will have to vote to ratify any changes before they will apply to the certified bargaining unit.

I’ve attached a copy of the proposed changes (changes are noted in red). In short, they???re adjusting leave so that it can be taken in hourly increments rather than half-day increments. Members of the certified bargaining unit should receive a digital ballot to vote within the next 48 hours. Voting will be open through Oct. 2nd. If you have certified staff members who did not receive a ballot, please have them email me at jen.holt@kckps.org
