Reminder Re: Photography for Graduation

from Melissa Fears

The KCKPS Communications Department will have a representative at each graduation this year. This representative will be taking photos for the district???s website and social media accounts to be used for marketing and journalistic purposes. As a reminder, the Communications Department will not be taking individual graduation photos for students and cannot, as the department does not have the equipment or extra personnel to properly do so.

As before, secondary principals are responsible for hiring and arranging for individual students??? graduation photos.

REMINDER – School Websites

from Melissa Fears
This is a final reminder re: school website updates.

By May 31, all schools will have an active, up-to-date website.

In order to expedite this (as there are 48-49 school websites that have to be up-to-date and with matching website themes) , all schools must either update their existing sites (assuming that you or your school webmaster(s) have access to your existing site), OR send Mike Keener a Word Document with all requested information/data (and any necessary photos) no later than Thursday, May 16, 2019.

When you’ve finished updating your website, email Mike Keener once you have updated your existing site, so he knows it’s ready to go live with the new design.

Attached here is a Word Document outlining what we need for each school’s website, in case you have not yet received it.

If you are having issues with adding pages/content to your existing site, feel free to contact Mike Keener and send him what you need to be added to your site.

Lastly, thank you to the schools that have already sent their information/data.
