186 day Classified employees who utilize the Clock In System (CIS) to record time, currently have an entry for the snow day observed on January 16, 2018. The paid day accurately reflects the total number of hours worked by the employee???s specific position. Any timecards which have not been approved by the employee or Administrator should now be approved.

Identification of Test Coordinator for State Assessment

There will be a state assessment training for principals and identified building test coordinators as part of the regularly scheduled administrators’ meeting on January 25th for elementary and January 30th for secondary. Please e-mail the name of your identified building test coordinator to David Rand by Wednesday, January 24th and plan to bring them to the meeting on the 25th or 30th. For both elementary and secondary, the state assessment training will be the first agenda item after check-ins and will take approximately 90 minutes. If you have any questions regarding this issue, or any other, please do not hesitate to contact David Rand in DERA. Thank you very much!!!!!!

We’re excited to open nomination for the 2018 KCKPS STAR Teacher Award! Principal, Please familiarize yourself with the attachments and what we are asking out educators to reflect on during this process. Below we have outlined some key dates to remember for this year’s STAR Teacher Award Process.
Deadline to submit the name of the nominee-Tuesday, January 23, 2018, by 4:00 p.m. (Please note: The KCKPS STAR Teacher Application packet will be sent via email by HR to each Nominee on Wednesday, January 24, 2018)
Save the date -Star Teacher Ceremony-April 4, 2018 from 4:30 pm -6:30 pm

Human Trafficking Presentation
