Locating Information for Monthly Professional Learning

The information for the August 8 District professional learning can be found the district curriculum page. Instead of emailing the locations each month, we will strive to have the link updated for that month’s professional learning by the beginning of the month. When anyone asks where they are supposed to go, you can direct them to this page.

Tell Me Your Special Plans to Welcome Back Students

Greetings Administrators!
Many of you have planned exciting activities for the first week of school, all to welcome students back for the new academic year. I would like to hear about those special plans for a news release and possible media coverage.
Please send me an email with all the details, including the date, time and contact person.

Protection from Abuse Orders

Please be aware that if a school or department is in receipt of a Protection from Abuse Order from the courts for either a staff person or a family member, please contact Amy Jo Troyer or Jody Mitchell and send orders to the HR office immediately.
These types of orders typically expire, it will be the responsibility of the HR department to track each of the orders and provide support and information to the school/department. HR will also initiate any needed legal support from our legal team.
Thank you for your attention to this very serious matter.

Convocation is coming up and I need one person from each school/department to carry in a banner during convocation. Please nominate someone and let me know who that will be.
On the day of convocation they will need to meet by the large yellow sign in the lobby for further instructions.

Centralized Enrollment begins today, August 2. Below are the dates and times for Centralized Enrollment:
Central Office
August 2: 10:00-6:00
August 3: 8:30-3:30
August 4: 8:30-11:30
August 7: 10:00 -6:00
August 8: 8:30-11:30
Elementary schools will enroll all families at their perspective schools
All registrars will remain at the schools to receive any re-enrollment (current students) and new enrollment. We are committed to five star service and do not want to delay enrollment. During the window of Centralized Enrollment all schools will receive families during the hours the school is open. The regular enrollment hours will resume after August 8.
