CIS and Absence Management

The HR team has been in communication with Frontline Absence Management support as well as District TIS staff to resolve the errors with absence reporting. As of Wednesday, November 20th, all errors should be resolved. If you or your staff see any errors, please contact Human Resources so that we may work to continue correcting those errors.

Absence Management and CIS Update

On November 5, 2019, HR sent notification out via Admin Notice to provide you with information regarding the recent change in absence entries from half/whole days to hours. Recently, we discovered that there are errors in absence reporting and how it flows from the Frontline system to CIS. We have been working diligently with Frontline to correct this error and should see that resolved by the end of this week.

Notification will go out again once the error is resolved and employees are able to approve their time in CIS. Once this occurs, we ask that you thoroughly review each of your employees’ CIS records to ensure there are no errors. In the event of an error due to an absence adding too much time, please notify Human Resources as soon as possible so that we can assist in correcting the error prior to submission of payroll.
