Coordinators Needed for United Way Campaign

The annual United Way campaign is coming up soon! Each building needs to have a designated coordinator who is willing to run the building’s campaign. Please see the list of schools/departments who need a coordinator. If your school or department is on this list, please email Grace Elmore, grace.elmore@kckps.org, with the person’s name. Thank you!

SIG and FOCUS Funds Deadline

As a reminder to all schools receiving either SIG or FOCUS funds, the deadline for encumbering these funds is September 30, 2016. Beyond that date, funds will no longer be able to be accessed.
Additionally, the funds must be expended by November 30, 2016. Receipt of goods or services and receipt and submission of all invoicing must be completed by this date.
Please be mindful of these dates as you look to allocate and spend this funding.
Non-Classroom Instructional Growth and Evaluation Process

This is a reminder that all Non-Classroom Instructional Support Staff should be completing the Growth Plan and be evaluated using the Non Classroom Instructional Support Form. They should not be using the Teacher Growth and Evaluation form. Please make sure that they are completing the correct growth plan and you are using the correct form to evaluate them.
This would include counselors, nurses, and librarians at the building level and assigned to principals or assistant principals.
