Morgan Hunter and Aesop Updates

From Amy Jo Troyer
Morgan Hunter:
Thank you for your work with the team at Morgan Hunter as we strive to ensure that your classrooms and positions have adequate coverage during absences! There is a quick update we???d like to share as we begin to see a trend in absences for a longer duration of time than the typical one to three days of disability leave use for short term concerns (i.e. ??? strep throat, common cold, child illness, etc). For long-term absences outside of the scope of what would be considered a ???traditional??? disability or sick day (i.e. ??????long-term??? meaning FMLA, maternity leave, emergency extended health leave, etc.), teachers and/or principals should speak with their respective representative at Morgan Hunter Education directly to coordinate coverage for that position after informing HR of the situation. Morgan Hunter will enter this leave for you, using specific coding to denote the nature of the absence, and can share that information with the substitute assigned. As a reminder, the initial contacts for MHED are:
Early Childhood/Elementary ??? Nicki Thompson: nthompson@mhedteach.com
Secondary ??? Megan Boone: mboone@mhedteach.com
BY PHONE: You can reach Nicki, Megan or another member of the MHED Team at 866-923-6433

Aesop:
We???ve seen a trend in mid-day absences and the reporting times not being accurate, particularly for individuals who require a substitute. Please call HR at 913-279-2262 should you find that your school or department mid-day split is inaccurately reflected in the system so that we can immediately update that for you. While employees can edit their times on each individual absence, and may be doing so, we would like to ensure that each half day increment is properly denoted in Aesop as the appropriate default for your specific building or department.
