Mileage Forms

From Robert Young
When reporting mileage after January 1, 2017, please use the newly revised “In-District Mileage Reimbursement Log” on the District’s Website. The mileage reimbursement rate has been revised to reflect the new reimbursement amount of $.535 per mile. This is the approved reimbursement rate in Kansas as of January 1, 2017. The newly revised form will reflect this amount in the automated calculation. Using any form other than this form will result in a disapproved submission. Only records submitted on the new form will be processed for payment. Thank you for you attention to this matter.

Upcoming CIS training

From Jody Mitchell
Beginning February 1, 2017, Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools will be transitioning all Classified employees (Non-Certified employees eligible for overtime) to an electronic system to record time worked. The Clock In System – known as CIS ??? is currently in use for several departments in the District and has proven successful in bridging the gap to ensure accurate overtime pay and comp time tracking.

To prepare you for this transition, we have scheduled training sessions on the following days:
??? Thursday, January 26, 2017 ??? 9am-11:30am
??? Thursday, January 26, 2017 ??? 1pm-3:30pm
??? Friday, January 27, 2017 ??? 9am-11:30am

Principals and Department Managers have received a calendar invitation for all available sessions, however, you are only required to attend one session. Please accept the date and time that works best with your schedule and feel free to bring another representative with you.

Thanks!
