Requests for Family Advocacy Interpreters

From??Rosie Rodriguez
Family Advocacy: October 21st and 22nd

It???s time to begin gathering your building needs for interpreter requests. To facilitate this process, please fill out the following information and return to my attention.

Substitute Time Reporting

From??Sherry L. Samples
Substitutes will automatically be paid for the time in the system for the job that they accept. If a substitute arrives late or leaves early the time is to be changed for the job time in Subfinder. Failure to do so results in payment of time not worked. This should be monitored through your time in/out sheet.

As an example, a substitute has no students the last hour of the day. He/she signs out at 3:30 but actually leaves at 2:30.

Please share this expectation with those others responsible for substitute processing.

Thank you.

Elementary GVC Feedback Survey for Instructional Window 1

From??Suzie Legg
The Curriculum Department is seeking your feedback around our current Guaranteed and Viable Curriculum (GVC), specifically the Unit Learning Goals and Performance Tasks. This feedback will be requested at the conclusion of each instructional window and will be used to inform the future design of these elements within the GVC.

This survey will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. Specific feedback versus general will be most helpful. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback.

You can access the feedback form via this link – https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/1516iw1

The form will be open through Friday, October 23rd.

  1. State Reporting Information for Principals

    Principal’s Building Report (PBR)
    Superintendent’s Organization Report (SO66)
    Early Reading Assessment

    Greetings,

The purpose of this notice is to let principals know that we will be submitting the above reports for your building. The Early Reading Assessment has already been submitted for all schools and we are currently working on the PBR and SO66. You may receive reminder e-mails from the state regarding these reports; you may disregard these e-mails. If for some reason you receive an e-mail at a later time that indicates the due date has passed and the data has not been submitted for your building, please forward that information to myself (david.rand@kckps.org). Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this information. Thank you very much!!!
