Gateway to College Referrals Are Being Taken Now

from Donna Devine
High School Administrators, please share this with your staff.
Gateway to College (GtC) Student Referrals (913 621-8715)
GtC is taking applications now for students who want to start GtC second semester. Interested students should not wait for Centralized Alternative High School Enrollment in January.
Students/Parents/Counselors/Administrators, etc. may call directly to Juan Rangel, GtC Director at 913 621-8715 to begin the application process. Or, they may visit the GtC office at Donnelly College, 608 N18th ST, KCK. The college will be closed over Winter Holiday Break, so it is important students contact GtC soon.
GtC students attend Donnelly classes and receive both high school and college credit for the classes they pass. There is no fee to students for the college credits they earn. A team of GtC Resource Specialists and Staff provide academic, social and emotional support to students.
To be eligible for consideration, students must have accrued a minimum of 10 high school credits and be credit deficient. Students who have dropped out of school are eligible and encouraged to apply. Student must be able to complete their high school diploma by the age of 21.
This is a great opportunity for KCKPS students. Please consider students who may be eligible and encourage them to apply.
